LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- As we get closer to the implementation of medical marijuana in Arkansas, patients and caregivers can get some of their questions answered on Tuesday.

The Medical Cannabis Patient Symposium is happening Tuesday evening at 6 at the Comfort Inn & Suites at 707 Interstate 30.

Topics that will be discussed include using medical cannabis to treat Crohn's disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer and how it may interact with other drugs.

There will be two special guests and special panels. The panels are "Cannabis Kids" and "Cannabis and Cancer."

There’s no cost to attend, but you must register and seating will be limited. RSVP on the Facebook event page or by emailing Info@ARcannabis.org.
