One person dead after 18-wheeler crashes into train in Little Rock

A train crash in eastern Little Rock, near the Port Authority, killed a man earlier today, June 21.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A train crash with an 18-wheeler near the intersection or Fourche Dam Pike and Frazier Pike has left one dead.

I’m on scene at Frazier Pike and Fourche Dam in Little Rock where a semi truck and a train have collided. Little Rock police are confirming at least one death as of right now. pic.twitter.com/boi713F0fT

Little Rock police said that the two men on the train jumped when they realized the truck was not stopping. One of the men was crushed and killed by the train.

The drivers of the train and the truck were not injured.

UPDATE- LRPD say there is one death from the accident. There were two men on the train that jumped when they realized the semi truck wasn’t stopping, one of the men that jumped was crushed and killed by the train. The semi truck driver & the driver of the train were not injured.
