LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- For one day only McDonald's is bringing back their famous Szechuan Sauce.
The promotion comes in honor of the store's new buttermilk crispy tenders. The sauce, made famous by the TV show Rick and Morty, will be at participating locations across the U.S. only on October 7.
Szechuan Sauce was originally offered in 1998 as part of a Mulan promotion. The sauce was removed from the menu after the promotion was over. However, after a mention of the sauce on Rick and Morty, fans have been begging for this sauce to come back.
So, McDonald's brought the sauce back for one day only. The catch? There's a limited supply. So limited in fact that people have taken to Twitter to show their outrage.

THV11 saw a line of people, waiting to get their hands on the Szechuan Sauce, wrapped all the way around the McDonald's on University. We want to know, did you get this limited sauce?
In addition to the sauce, McDonald’s is also giving away 1,000 limited-edition, hand numbered, screen-printed posters for all ten sauces in their lineup, including Szechuan Sauce.
