BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) -- Christopher Marshall, a 33-year-old from Malvern, was arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Tractor Supply Company in Benton.
He was arrested around 4 p.m. on Saturday at a Little Rock hotel. He faces several charges including two counts of aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm by certain persons, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of false imprisonment, third degree battery, and theft of property.
Around 9:37 p.m. on Thursday, officers were dispatched to Tractor Supply Company at 17318 Interstate 30 for a report of an armed robbery. Store employees said the suspect ran in an unknown direction and officers were not able to locate the suspect.
Employees said after closing the store, a black man wearing a mask came out of nearby bushes brandishing a handgun and ordered them into the store. While inside the store, the suspect and two employees scuffled, during which the suspect reportedly received stab wounds from a small knife. The suspect then ran.
Two employees received minor injuries, with one being transported to a local hospital for treatment.
