LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Organizers with Drain Smart, a program aimed at communicating the link between street litter, storm drains, and water equality, are holding a free event June 13 and the public's invited! Partygoers will have a chance to meet the 18 local artists who have worked hard in recent weeks to paint murals on 18 Little Rock storm drains.

The event is set to start at 6 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center on W. 9th St. and will be emceed by THV11 meteorologist Mariel Ruiz. Bravo Cucina Italiana, Del Frisco's Grille, Flyway Brewing, The Root Cafe, and Lake Liquor will provide food and drinks for the evening.

Be sure to RSVP via this link. In addition to having heavy hors d'ouvres, wine, and beer, guests of the celebration will be able to vote for their favorite drain art and shop a silent auction.
