NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A North Little Rock woman who was woman reported missing on April 15 was found dead in her home on Thursday.
North Little Rock police found the body of 59-year-old Rocklin Stermer Rachaner behind a piece of furniture within her home.
"Where she fell was very hard to find," said Sgt. Brian Dedrick with the North Little Rock Police Department describing where Rachaner's body was found.
Originally, investigators believed her disappearance was suspicious because all her personal belongings were found inside her locked residence and no one, including her work, had heard from her.
Officers were headed back to her home off W. 34th Street on Thursday to look for additional evidence when they found her.
Dedrick added that "all indications lead us to believe that the body has been there since the beginning of the incident."
At this time, police do not believe foul play was involved.
