Giving Tuesday encourages people to donate money or time to worthy causes. Last year, An estimated $274 million was raised online in the United States during the sixth annual Giving Tuesday event.

Traditionally, Giving Tuesday is a day for nonprofit organizations to solicit donations, but retailers are also helping out this year, making giving easier than ever. 2.) On Amazon, every purchase of its limited edition (RED) Echo 2nd Generation ($99; amazon.com), Amazon donates $10 to support (RED)'s efforts to fight AIDS through the Global Fund.
