THV11 'Summer Cereal Drive' celebrates 18th year!

We set a big goal of 500,000 boxes in 2017 in an effort to provide breakfast for children and families year round. This year, we continue that journey!

THV11 and the Arkansas Food Bank are celebrating the 18th year for the Summer Cereal Drive!

Last year, a record 343,000 boxes of cereal was donated, feeding children throughout Central and Southeast Arkansas all the way through February! With your help, we’re closer to feeding kids all year round.

And thanks to your donations over the past 17 years, THV11 and the Arkansas Foodbank in partnership with local businesses, groups, and schools – have been able to provide over 2.8 million boxes of cereal to Arkansas kids and their families.

We set a big goal of 500,000 boxes in 2017 in an effort to provide breakfast for children and families year round. This year, we continue that journey!

WHAT is the Summer Cereal Drive?

The Summer Cereal Drive provides non-perishable breakfast items that are both nutritious and kid-friendly for children and families in Central Arkansas who would otherwise go without the most important meal of the day - breakfast.

NEW This Year!

We are excited to introduce a “Kids Division” this year sponsored by the Arkansas Travelers. Every year we see these amazing hunger heroes making donations and making a difference. At THV11 and the Arkansas Foodbank, we want to celebrate their generosity and create a team division just for KIDS! If you have a kid or group of kids interested, all you have to do is sign up for a team, just click here. Top participants get a special prize courtesy of the Arkansas Travelers.
