Rob Evans helps put up siding on THV11 Habitat Home

We’re one step closer to a move-in date. We've been following along as Lakisha Waters and her three kids help build their brand-new home on Division Street.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Progress was made on the Habitat for Humanity home that THV11 is helping build.

We've been following along as LaKisha Waters and her three kids help build their brand-new home on Division Street.

On Tuesday, the siding went up with a little help from THV11’s own handyman, Rob Evans. Volunteers also included Habitat for Humanity employees and Congressman French Hill's staff.

We’re one step closer to a move-in date. Waters said she wanted to move her three kids out of her current neighborhood so that her kids don't become a statistic.

The builders are hoping Waters and her family will be able to move into their new home by the holidays.

Nov. 17 is the next volunteer day. If you'd like to help with building her home, or maybe apply for one yourself, click here.
