LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — If you need a little help keeping your home warm, you can apply for assistance in paying for you winter utility bills.
Every year, the Central Arkansas Development Council puts on a Low-Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program to help those who can't afford to heat their homes when it gets cold.
CEO Of the CADC Randy Morris said he hopes helping people with their Entergy needs will help them focus on other needs or hard times they may be facing.'
"We're trying to help these individuals as much as possible... whatever it is, we try to help them as much as possible," Morris said.
The program will operate as long as funds are available.
You can find locations and times on the council's website, as well as a list of what to bring when applying.
