LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Ever have the experience of being at work, and for a special moment, you know beyond any doubt that what you’re doing is what you were meant to be doing with your life?

It happened to our own Craig O'Neill on the Reading Road Trip at a spot in West Little Rock: Easter Seals.

The toddlers heard about toys that make Valentines for one another. The pre-K kids went down a magical road where barnyard animals converse with a happy traveler.

They responded with the sounds, the laughter and the joy of hearing a story. The words and emotions reflected in their young faces told you that it’s working at a place that has been working with children and families with special needs for over 70 years.

To be a part of that rich history for one hour on one special day, was an honor for the Reading Road Trip.

Easter Seals has a fun, colorful, enchanting fashion show every year, and it’s coming up on March 7 at the Statehouse Convention Center.
