Summer 'Reading Roadtrip' makes a stop at the Nixon Library in Jacksonville

Craig O'Neill makes a summer reading roadtrip stop in Jacksonville.

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Show them the pictures. Be active. Ask questions. Keep them involved and if possible make them say the words you read.

Words of advice Craig had been given when reading to one of the most challenging groups of kids. Preschoolers. But at the Nixon Library in Jacksonville, we had some great kids.

Great kids loved the stories about bears. They loved the stories of a cat constantly getting into trouble. A Monkey waking up. A Brown bear with a lot of friends.

And in the end, we got the Channel 11 salute. Three books in one trip.

A new record for an active, motivate d group at a beautiful library.

On Thursday, we are headed to Brinkley and the Folsom Library.
