LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The brand new Ronald McDonald NICU Family Room at UAMS just opened at the end of January.
But, they need help getting the supplies needed for people to take full advantage of the space.
Hospital officials are asking for the following items:
Kitchen Supplies
- Individual bags of trail mix
- Individual servings of fruit juice
- Fruit cups, fruit snacks
- Paper plates and paper bowls
- Foil baking pans - medium and large
- Aluminum foil
- Zipper-type gallon bags
- Kitchen towels
Bedroom & Bathroom
- Shampoo, deodorant and soap
- Antibacterial hand soap
- Cleaning Supplies
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Dryer sheets
- Antibacterial sprays
- Clorox sanitizing wipes
- 13-gallon trash bags
Miscellaneous
- 60-75 watt CFL bulbs
- Electric air pumps for air mattresses
- Postage stamps
- Kroger, Walmart and/or Sam's Club gift cards
- Office Depot, Home Depot and/or Lowe's Gift Cards (for office supplies and general maintenance supplies)
All donations will go toward helping families stay comfortable while their babies are treated in the NICU.
