SHERWOOD, Ark. (KTHV) - No-Shave November may be over, but the money raised during that month really is the gift that keeps on giving.
The Sherwood division of the Fraternal Order of Police donated $2,000 to the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) organization, all thanks to those who donated and participated during the No-Shave November campaign.
"We can think of no greater cause to stand with, as these brave men and women turn their loss into service for others," the Facebook post read.
According to the press release, C.O.P.S. is an organization composed of over 48,000 survivors of fallen law enforcement officers from all over our nation. C.O.P.S. supports several programs that help people of all ages dealing with the grief that comes with loss.
