POPE COUNTY, Ark — In Russellville, Ark., a last minute addition to the city council's agenda signals a change of pace for the city.

The mayor added a resolution to welcome Cherokee nation businesses. It's a departure from the mayor's previous stance against casinos.

His own commission even recommended a different casino.

Since Cherokee nation has the needed letters of support from the quorum court and county judge, the Russellville mayor's added support could open another option for legends to be located.
