LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Deputy Lynn Smith of the White County Sheriff's Office died at 9 p.m. April 1 from complications after an emergency surgery, according to a Facebook post by the office.
A prayer circle was planned for 7:15 a.m. April 2 at the Riverview flagpole, where he was the school resource officer. But in light of his death, the prayer circle will be held at 7:15 a.m. at the Riverview Football Stadium.
