LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Little Rock’s newest “boards and bites” restaurant, Southern Table, is set to open their doors in early June.
“Southern Table evokes a feeling of sharing,” said Margie Raimondo, gastronomist and owner of Southern Table, “The restaurant name comes from the sharing of food and comradery in a warm, welcoming way — like we would act at home.”
Purchased by Raimondo Winery in April, Southern Table will open in the same location of the former Kent Walker Artisan Cheese “cheese cave” located at 323 South Cross Street in Little Rock.
Southern Table customers will be able to share cheese and meat boards and drink beer and wine at the new restaurant. There will be more to the business than just “wining and dining” though. Customers will also be able to take tours of the manufacturing areas, participate in cheese-making classes and purchase Southern Table products in the retail section of the store. Items available for purchase are the following: Southern Table cheeses, preserves, spreads, wines, soups, spices and salts, soaps and scrubs.
The Southern Table is excited to open its doors to the public shortly. If you would like to visit the new location or have questions, please contact Margie Raimondo at (501)366-9817.
