LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Big numbers in stories about big problems often make those problems hard to grasp. So a national group came to Little Rock Saturday to make it easier to address the problem of hunger in America.
A group called Mazon brought the This is Hunger exhibit to the city. It tries to make the problems of hunger personal.
It has two parts: an Illumination section, and a section that advocates for change. Organizers said there's more to do than donating a can to a food drive, or a serving a meal during the holidays.
“We have to do more because Arkansas ranks as the top most hungry states in the country and we have to change that,” said National Organizer for Mazon, Samuel Chu.
This is the exhibit's 47th stop, and the 25th state "This Is Hunger" has visited. They will be parked outside the Clinton Library until Monday.
