LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A woman turned herself in on Tuesday afternoon for the murder of a Little Rock man.
Around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, officers with the Little Rock Police Department were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Woodrow in reference to a disturbance with a weapon call.
Upon arrival to 16th and Woodrow streets, officers found 24-year-old Loren Poole lying in the street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Detectives interviewed witnesses who identified the suspect in the shooting as 38-year-old Tiffany McGhee. She turned herself in to homicide detectives and was charged with first degree murder. She is being held in the Pulaski County Jail with no bond.
This is the city's 48th homicide of the year.
