Funeral set for WWII Veteran in Conway, community invited to pay respects

World War II and Korean War Veteran Hebert 'Lucky' Hudson Page's funeral service will be held Saturday, the community is invited.

Saturday, hundreds of people will travel to Conway to say goodbye to a highly decorated World War II Marine Veteran.

World War II and Korean War Veteran Hebert 'Lucky' Page was 92-years-old when he passed away. He is a member of the Arkansas Military Hall of Fame. 

Page's obituary says: "We as your children honor you, our country needed you and our Lord God chose you. You were much too many... but everything to us. We will carry you in our hearts until we are reunited in glory." 

His service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway. The whole community is invited to celebrate his life. 

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 7-1 out of Little Rock will be escorting his remains in the caisson.
