Pine Bluff Fire Department responds to three separate structure fires in one day

The cause of the fires remain under investigation for all three structures.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — On Monday, June 22, Pine Bluff Fire Department and Emergency Services responded to three separate structure fires.

At 4 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to 1620 S Nebraska for a structure fire. Upon arrival, the structure had flames coming through the middle of the roof from the second floor. 

The Arkansas Department of Health was contacted due to the building being occupied by a food distributor. 

Following, at 4:01 p.m. fire crews were dispatched to 1517 S Elm for a residential structure fire. The structure had heavy smoke showing and flames were visible from the back of the structure. 

At 11:34 p.m., crews were dispatched to 2901 Planters Drive for a business structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from Bale Press building used store cotton seed. 

The fires caused three firefighters to be trasported to the hosptila for heat exhaustion. All three were were treated and released.

The cause of the fires remain under investigation for all three structures.
