JONESBORO, Ark. — The Arkansas State baseball dropped its season finale to Little Rock 13-9 Saturday at Tomlinson Stadium. A-State finishes the 2019 campaign 26-29 overall and a 11-19 mark in the Sun Belt conference. 

The Red Wolves rallied in the eighth, to pull within 13-9 when Tyler Duncan sent a three-run blast to right, Jacob Jablonski singled through right center and Drew Tipton slashed a two-run single through center field to scored Jablonski and Casey Vaughn. Tyler Duncan went two-for-four on the day, with four RBIs, a home run and a run. 

Nate Alberius (5-4) pitched seven innings, in his last game in an A-State uniform, allowing 13 runs on 19 hits with one walk and two strikeouts. Zachary Patterson seen action out of the bull

Arkansas State rallied in the fifth, the take a 3-2 lead, when Tyler Duncan singled through the right side and Jaylon Deshazier filed out to right field to scoring Justin Felix. Deshazier finished the day two-for-three with an RBI and a run while Jablonski finished two-for-four with an RBI and a run.

Little Rock (28-26, 18-11) tacked on a three spot in the sixth, to take the lead back 5-3, when Nathan Lyons singled through the left side and Christian Reyes doubled down the left field line. Reyes finished two-for-four with two RBIs, a triple and a double. The Trojans tacked on eight runs in the seventh to take an 8-3 advantage.
