FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas dominated Ole Miss in game one of the Fayetteville Super Regional 11-2.
Hard to believe but the Razorbacks trailed in this ballgame 1-0 before Arkansas scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st courtesy of Jack Kenley’s 3-run home run to give the Razorbacks a 4-1 lead. Kenley finished 1-3 with 3 RBI and the HR.
Sophomore Casey Martin broke out of his hitting slump in a big way going 2-4 with 2 RBI but the story the day was Trevor Ezell. The graduate transfer 3-5 with an RBI including a solo HR. Ezell even robbed of another HR in the 7th inning.
Starting pitcher Isaiah Campbell was brilliant once again for the Razorbacks tossing a career high 8.1 innings. Campbell 7 strikeouts allowing just 2 earned runs to improve to 12-1.
Game two of the Super Regional set for Sunday at 2:00 PM on ESPNU. A win will send the Razorbacks back to the College World Series.
