Arkansas drops 5th straight as Hogs fall in Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Arkansas couldn't overcome a 19 point deficit in the 1st half as they fell to Florida 73-59 in Gainesville. 

The Gators jumped all over the Razorbacks in the 1st half leading 30-11 with 7:30 left before the break. Arkansas able to cut the lead all the way to 2 in the 2nd half but it wasn't enough.

Keyontae Johnson and Andrew Nembhard both finished in double figures for the Gators. Johnson finished with 24 points while Nembhard added 17. Once again Mason Jones led the Razorbacks in scoring with 21. Adrio Bailey added 16, while Jimmy Whitt Jr. finished with 10. 

In a surprising move Sophomore Ethan Henderson got the start scoring a season high 7 points before fouling out in the 2nd half.

The Razorbacks have now dropped five straight to fall to 16-10 (4-9 SEC). 

Arkansas now returns home to Bud Walton Arena to host Missouri on Saturday. Tip-off scheduled for Noon on the SEC Network.
