FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Diamond Hogs overcame an early 3-0 deficit to beat LSU 11-6 and take the series and hand LSU their 5th straight loss.
Arkansas led LSU 5-3 in the 8th until the Razorbacks exploded for 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to put Tigers away. Dominic Fletcher led the Razorbacks at the plate going 2-4 with 3 RBI.
The Hogs trailed in this ballgame until Heston Kjerstad's 6th inning solo home run tied the ballgame. Arkansas took the lead in the 7th inning behind RBI singles from Casey Martin and Dominic Fletcher.
Kevin Kopps was terrific out of the bullpen tossing 4 innings with 4 strikeouts giving up just one hit picking up the win.
Arkansas will go for the sweep Saturday afternoon at 1:00 on ESPN2
