LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, February 15, Arkansas Travelers President Russ Meeks presented the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Arkansas with a donation.
The donation was two checks totaling $4,000 as part of the National Salute to Veterans Ceremony.
One check for $2,000 was given to the Travs by the MiLB Charities Stars & Stripes Fund in recognition of the Travs earning the Texas League nomination for the 2018 Charles K. Murphy Patriot Award.
The second check for $2,000 is a matching donation gifted by the Travs as an expression of their appreciation and support of Arkansas Veterans and Veterans programs.
