Razorback basketball players respond to head coach Mike Anderson's dismissal

Players and fans have been flooding Twitter with their opinions on the university's decision.

After eight seasons with the University of Arkansas head basketball coach, Mike Anderson was dismissed on March 26.

Players and fans have been flooding Twitter with their opinions on the university's decision.

Players, such as Dan Gafford and Gabe Osabuohien, have responded largely with support for the former coach, saying that he helped them grow over the years.

Jalen Harris also tweeted, saying that Anderson and the University of Arkansas coaching staff believed in him when no one else did.

Anderson met with the players on March 26 to let them know he had been relieved of duties as their head coach. Frustrations have been boiling over with the fan base for a while, and now after eight years and just three tournament appearances, Anderson has been let go.

Anderson also responded to the dismissal in a video on Twitter.

The Hogs went 18 and 16 this season and failed to reach the tournament as he had one of the youngest rosters in all of division one basketball.
