Hogs WR Treylon Burks declares for NFL Draft, opts out of Outback Bowl

Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks announced on social media that he has opted out of the Outback Bowl and will enter the NFL Draft.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — On Wednesday, Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks announced he has declared for the NFL Draft. With the decision, Burks has opted out of the Outback Bowl.

On Tuesday, Burks was named to the All-SEC first team. The Warren, Arkansas native will go down as one of the best offensive weapons in program history.

During his three years at Arkansas Burks tallied 2,418 receiving yards, the fifth most in school history. In 2021 he set a single-season school record with six 100-yard receiving games.

In three seasons in Fayetteville, Burks made 147 receptions for 2,418 yards and 18 touchdowns in 31 games. Burks is projected to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by CBS Sports. 

Arkansas will be replacing Burks with Oklahoma transfer Jadon Hazelwood and Fayetteville senior Isaiah Sategna.
