Don't worry, Free Fishing Weekend is still scheduled from June 7 at noon until midnight on Sunday.
Many have been wondering if the weekend would still happen in the wake of the historic Arkansas River flooding over the last couple of weeks.
According to Arkansas Game and Fish's website, no angler needs a fishing license or trout permit to fish anywhere in the state.
