Perry dominates Hogs as Arkansas falls to Mississippi State

The Razorbacks suffered their first two game losing streak of the Eric Musselman era as Arkansas fell to Mississippi State in Starkville 77-70.

STARKVILLE, Miss — The Razorbacks suffered their first two game losing streak of the Eric Musselman era as Arkansas fell to Mississippi State in Starkville 77-70.

Former Razorback commit Reggie Perry was dominant against the Hogs leading all scorers with 26 points. 

The story of the night was free throws for Arkansas as the Razorbacks finished just 6-11. Mississippi State was outstanding from the charity stripe shooting 27-31.

It was a night to forget for Isaiah Joe who finished with just 5 points on 2-13 shooting. Joe going just 1-8 from 3-point. Mason Jones and Jimmy Whitt Junior led Arkansas with 20 points each.

The loss drops Arkansas to 14-4 (3-3 SEC), the Razorbacks now step out of conference play for the BIG 12/SEC Challenge on Saturday. The Hogs will host TCU at 3:00 PM on ESPN2.
