CLARK COUNTY, Arkansas — According to the National Weather Service, Arkadelphia received 5.79 inches of rain since midnight.

Officials say there are currently Flash Flood Emergencies for Clark and Pike counties with a flash flood watch through the day due to outstanding amount of rain. 

The National Weather Service Chat reported 4 feet of water in Arkadelphia at Walnut St. and U.S. 67, with high water at 7th and U.S. 67, and many other streets.

Some radar estimates include 6-8.5 inches of rain in southwest Arkansas over the last 24 hours.

Officials say they are seeing flooding in some businesses around the Clark County area. The Humane Society of Clark County posted to their Facebook page asking for help with their animals due to a large amount of flooding at their business.
