Heavy rain is headed our way and expected to stay until Saturday. With some areas already concerned about flooding, here's exactly what you can expect.
Tuesday: Heavy rain begins early Tuesday. May start as sleet before a quick change over to rain all day long.
Wednesday: Rain continues, though we may see a small break late that night.
Thursday: The small break may continue before the rain picks up again Thursday night.
Friday: Heavy rain is expected to come back and continue into Saturday.
Saturday: A chance of storms before the weather pattern settles down.
Between 3-5 inches of rain is possible across central Arkansas during the week, with eastern Arkansas possibly seeing even more. A Flash Flood Watch has already been posted for central and eastern Arkansas through Wednesday morning.
