The newest member on the Hot Springs police beat is a 13-month old Belgian Malinois who's in need of a name.
He will be both a patrol an explosive K-9 officer.
The Hot Springs Police Department turned to social media Monday afternoon to announce the newest addition with a unique twist: asking the public to suggest a name.
The one who comes up with the chosen name will be able to meet the K-9 officer at a later date.
Hot Springs police ask to keep the name suggestions clean and respectful.
The deadline to submit a name is June 21st.
