Robotics in Space

Clinton Presidential Center

Demonstrations of space robotics will take place hourly at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. A special space snack will be provided. Space Station MIR and Space Camp® Simulators will also be available each Saturday. Don't miss your chance to see an authentic moon rock - on loan from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center® in Huntsville, Alabama - from July 18 - 29. Regular admission and $1 per simulator fees apply. Star Gazing Cruise

Pinnacle Mountain State Park

View the stars while we cruise aboard our tour boat on Lake Maumelle near Pinnacle Mountain. An experienced park interpreter serves as your pilot and guide. Learn about stars, constellations and satellites in the sky! Reservations and advance payment required. Admission: $10 adults, $5 children

Snakes Alive!

Pinnacle Mountain State Park

Learn more about our slithery scaly serpents at the West Summit Trailhead with Park Interpreter Susan. Try to test your knowledge of Arkansas snake identification and learn how to easily tell the difference between venomous and non-venomous snakes. Free!

Batty for Bats

Pinnacle Mountain State Park

Bats are among the most misunderstood mammals, with lots of myths and fear surrounding them. Meet a park interpreter at the Pinnacle Pavilion to separate fact from fiction about our winged mammals. Stick around after this program for a fun craft. Free!/>
