Reading Roadtrip kicks off the perfect summer at the Children's Library

Lightening bugs, swimming, ice cream, watermelon, firecrackers on the fourth, city parks, family vacations, all ingredients of a memorable summer for kids.

Lightening bugs, swimming, ice cream, watermelon, firecrackers on the fourth, city parks, family vacations, all ingredients of a memorable summer for kids. 

But, to make it perfect? Include books.

It’s why the Reading Road Trip now visits libraries to find books that will improve the chances for children to have “the perfect summer.”

At the Hillary Clinton Children’s Library, a story about attitude, and how it can affect our choices about who we are and who we want to be.

That may sound a tad complex for a story involving a frog, and whether or not the kids released all that doesn’t take away from the fun.

Tomorrow the Road Trip heads to North Little Rock and the Laman Library at 10:30 a.m. Let's all get together and hear a story, and find the books that will make it a perfect summer.
