Downtown LR Partnership to host 'Bright the Night' with Christmas tree lighting ceremony

Downtown Little Rock Partnership invites the public to join Mayor Mark Stodola, Arkansas Children's, and downtown businesses to "Bright the Night."

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Downtown Little Rock Partnership invites the public to join Mayor Mark Stodola, Arkansas Children’s, and downtown businesses to “Bright the Night,” a lighting ceremony for downtown’s public Christmas tree at Capitol Plaza.

The lighting ceremony will take place on Monday, Nov. 19 at the corner of Capitol Avenue and Main Street. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with festive holiday music by a guest choir from a local church. The lighting ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. featuring Mayor Stodola and Santa Claus.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be available courtesy of Arkansas Children’s.

Downtown Little Rock Partnership

Special guests from Arkansas Children’s will also be on hand to help light the tree, while also sharing how Arkansans’ support can help children shine bright through the darkest of situations.

The event is free and open to the public.
