Ark. sports anchor scared by snake moments before going live on TV

Watch how quick Hayden gets out of the way.

OMAHA, Neb. (KTHV) -- Enjoying a day in Omaha while covering the Diamond Hogs in the College World Series, THV11 sports anchor Hayden Balgavy got a little shaken up moments before going live on TV Sunday evening.

It happened in the Old Market area of town, where the THV11 team was waiting to go live on-air. A man, holding a python, passed by the anchors, scaring Hayden half to death.. ...It was a rather small python, to boot. Editor's note: We still love you, Hayden -- no shame!

Then, "THV11 This Morning" anchor Rob Evans, who is reporting in Omaha alongside Hayden, just had to add insult to injury by tricking Hayden into thinking he had the snake.

Hayden ran pretty quickly. Maybe he could pinch-run for the Diamond Hogs! Watch how fast he gets out of the way:

THV11 has been reporting live from Omaha since days before the Diamond Hogs first game in the College World Series. Now in the finals, the team faces Oregon State at 6 p.m. Monday.
