Jefferson Co. deputies are investigating after a dead body was found near Highway 65 South on March 25.
According to the press release, deputies were dispatched to a field 2 miles south of the Hwy 65 South and Hwy 425 intersection after farmers saw an unclothed body lying in the field.
Deputies arrived at 4:45 p.m., where they found the body and clothing nearby. Once investigators identify the body and tell the family, they will release that information to the public.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
