LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department has made an arrest in a homicide that happened during the afternoon hours of May 20.
Police arrested 20-year-old Ryan Frierson on May 22 and he was taken into custody in Texas. He is awaiting extradition back to Arkansas and he will be charged with capital murder.
According to reports, just after 4:00 p.m., on May 20 LRPD officers were called to the 2400 block of South Pulaski Street with reports of a shooting.
Once they arrived at the scene they found an adult male identified as 20-year-old Joshua Brown who appeared to have been shot. The victim was quickly taken to the hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
