One of the men who escaped the Pulaski County Jail last week is back on the run after being released from a New Mexico Jail due to an alleged clerical error.

Geronimo Medina-Espeicuta, 47, was released Monday evening after his paperwork was misfiled. It reportedly never reached the courthouse.

New Mexico authorities are actively searching for him.

The two men originally escaped Pulaski County Jail last Thursday morning by crawling through a bathroom ceiling, according to police.
