Reward increased in slaughtered Woodruff County farm animals case

The reward amount for the case is now up to $6,250.00. There was a total of 10 animals killed; 8 goats, one alpaca and one calf.

WOODRUFF COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) – The Woodruff County Sheriff’s Department has announced another increase in the reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the slaughter of almost a dozen animals on a family farm.

The incident happened December 29, 2017, when William Wiggins and his family went to check on their farm animals.

There was a total of 10 animals that were killed; eight goats, one alpaca, and one calf. All 10 animals were attacked in multiple ways, including injuries to their necks and legs.

The reward amount for the case is now up to $6,250.00.

The sheriff’s department made the announcement on their Facebook page. The increase comes from donations from people in the community.
