FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks made the 2024 early signing class official on Wednesday, adding 24 athletes — 16 from the high school ranks and eight college transfers to the football program.
Nine different states and one European country are represented in the early signing class, which consists of 12 offensive players, 11 defenders and a transfer kicker.

Multiple outlets rank the Razorbacks' 2024 early signing class in the top 30 nationally, but between No. 13-15 in the SEC. On a national scale, ESPN and 247Sports have Arkansas's early signing class ranked No. 26 and No. 28, respectively, while On3Sports and Rivals have it at No. 31 in the nation.
On Tuesday, the Razorbacks had a significant day in the transfer portal, adding former five-star linebacker Xavian Sorey Jr. from Georgia and former four-star offensive lineman Addison Nichols from Tennessee.
Sorey and Nichols headline the eight college transfers for Arkansas during the December signing period. On3Sports ranked the Hogs' transfer class as the No. 14 best in the nation, while 247Sports has the group at No. 16 nationally. Both outlets placed Arkansas's transfer class at No. 5 in the SEC.

According to Arkansas Athletics, 21 of the 24 December signees are scheduled to enroll early and participate in spring practices.
The NCAA Division I and Division II football National Signing Day (regular period) is set for February 7, 2024.
