SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — The Saline County Sheriff's Office has now made an arrest in a fatal shooting incident that happened on October 20.
According to reports, just before 2:30 a.m., officers responded to Rolling Manor Drive with reports of a shooting that had just occurred. The caller stated that he had just shot another male at the home.
He then walked to a nearby truck stop and waited until police arrived at the scene.
Police state that the person who was shot is now deceased and that a homicide investigation is underway.
The suspect was arrested, and taken into custody without incident.
Police are not releasing the name of either the victim or the suspect at this time.
