Jacksonville police investigating Taco Bell shooting

The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating after shots were fired at a Taco Bell located at 1809 N. First St. on May 5.

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — Update: Demetric Wilson turned himself in to the Jacksonville Police Department on May 17.

Authorities said Wilson was arrested and charged with terroristic act, four counts of aggravated assault, criminal mischief and possession of a firearms by a certain person.

On May 5, the Jacksonville Police Department is investigating after shots were fired at a Taco Bell at 1809 N. First St.

When officers arrived, they determined that the incident resulted from a disturbance between employees and that no one was injured.

This was confirmed to be an isolated incident and not a threat to the general public.
