LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The man shot and killed on Stardust Trail in Little Rock on Monday night is identified.

The Little Rock Police Department was called to a shooting at the 10400 block of Stardust Trail and Mabelvale cutoff.

When officers arrived they found a woman who said her friend, 30-year-old Loren Robinson, had been shot. The woman said a man fired several shots into her vehicle while they were parked outside of the home.

Robinson was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries. Lieutenant Steve McClanahan said witnesses said they saw a car leaving the scene directly after the shooting.

Police found that vehicle and made contact with the driver who was arrested for misdemeanor warrants out of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, unrelated to this incident.

No other information has been released.
