LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: The deceased victim has been identified as 33-year-old Brittany Martin. The other victim is a 31-year-old who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed one woman and injured one man in the 1900 block of South Pulaski Street just after midnight on Saturday.
Authorities said they arrived at the scene and found the two adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
According to Little Rock police, the woman died from her injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital, while the man is recovering and is in stable condition.
The victims' identities have not been revealed.
