LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Police have arrested and charged 40-year-old Joseph Walker of Sherwood with capital murder for his involvement in this incident.
Little Rock police responded to the intersection of Geyer Springs and Baseline Road shortly after midnight on November 20 in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult Black male later identified as 28-year-old Robert Overton deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The scene was secured and a preliminary investigation was launched.
The body of the victim has been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
