LISA North Academy closed until Monday due to high number of sick absences

The Kindergarten through fifth-grade school in Sherwood reported that it will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week to deep clean the building.

SHERWOOD, Ark. — The Kindergarten through fifth-grade school in Sherwood reported that it will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week to deep clean the building.

The school posted on Facebook with the announcement that they will resume normal schedules on Monday, Feb. 3.

"We look forward to seeing everyone back and healthy," the school said.

While children will not be physically in class, the school asks that students will have AMI work that will count toward their attendance during Thursday, Jan. 30 and Friday, Jan 31.

This closing does not affect other LISA Academy campuses, just the elementary school in Sherwood.
