Man arrested for Saline County double homicide

A 37-year-old man has been taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder for his involvement in the death of two people in Saline County on Saturday night.

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — Update: The victims have been identified as 38-year-old Brittany Taylor and 40-year-old David Taylor.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest after an incident left two people dead on Saturday night.

According to reports, at around 10:00 p.m., Saline County sheriffs were called to a home on Jolie Place with reports of someone "attacking two individuals." Once they arrived at the scene they found two deceased victims.

Police were able to identify 37-year-old Bryan Reed as the suspect and he was taken into custody after being located in Austin, Arkansas.

He has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree battery, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Reed is being held in the Saline County Detention Center.
