Man arrested after shooting victim multiple times while at Conway restaurant

Police have now made an arrest after a man shot at someone multiple times while at a restaurant in Conway.

CONWAY, Ark. — The Conway Police Department is investigating after a shooting incident left one person injured during the early morning hours of March 31.

According to reports, just after midnight, an argument involving multiple people ensued while at JJ's Grill on Main Street.

During the argument, the suspect identified as Durance Pearson, fired several shots and hit a victim several times. The victim was quickly taken to the hospital where they remain in stable condition.

Mr. Pearson was taken to the Faulkner County Jail and booked on charges of first-degree battery and aggravated assault. 

No information has been released regarding the victim's identity.
